Well, here is a recent post on my life...lots has happened since I last posted..which I forgot what I wrote about last. I will do a bullet list..

Greatness:
-God is sooo good..I just have to say, my walk with God has suffered recently because of my busy schedule, but He is so faithful when I am not. I just wish I could stop stumbling in the same areas...
-Dan and I are dating (which now many of you on here don't know this, I have liked him for a while now, we are good friends) If you want details ask or call me..it is easier to explain that way. I can tell ya though...he is pretty amazing and I am very happy.
-Went to NYC with my family for me and my sister's birthday's (she is going to be 16..ahhhh!!!!!!!) It was a blast, though I have to say that the city life is NOT for me..I was ready to come back to the trees and mountains. We were on the Today show, ate some amazing food, went up on the Empire State Building, took a death by taxi ride, saw two Broadway shows..the works..
-I am getting more involved in the church I go to up here..we are going to start a Singles Worship service next semester and I am a part of the planning..it is a lot of fun..I have to say I really like planning, though I complain about it a lot.

Badness:
-School...need I say more..projects that are not coming together, tests that happen all together, online courses that drive me crazy..yeah...I could go on and on...

Well..my list of badness is short this time, which is good...there is more I am sure, but why dwell on all that stuff? Just give it to God...
I hope that everyone is doing swell in your part of the world...I hope to see many of your soon when I come home or when you come to visit! :)

Okay, we all know it has been a while since I actually posted on here. Does anyone ever check Xanga anymore anyway? I haven't seen many posts lately, besides Bernie's. So, Lauren & I are back at school at Montreat. The load is much lighter this year, I only have 3 required classes I think I need next semester to finish..craziness... I am just having fun chillin' in NC and trying to figure out my next steps into adulthood.
I am excited, but nervous b/c I have no plans of which direction I want to go. I really don't know what I want to focus my work in. Pray that God will show me and I will open my eyes to see where He is leading. Pray that I can continually stay in His Word, something I have been lacking at lately. Other than that, life is the same..Lauren, Keri, & I are mapping the streams up in the Montreat cove for our project this semester..lots of hiking and wading in the streams. We are also going to be tracking mtn. lions for another project! I am excited! They are supposedly extinct up here, but there have been sightings recently, so we are some cutting edge news! My best friend is married! Congrats gal!

It has been a crazy couple of months. I remember when I was about to die in my last semester, thinking about our trip out west and then Lauren's wedding..it seemed so far away. Now it is all over...and it all just flew by. I enjoyed every minute, but it just seems things are flying by faster than I would like lately. I can't seem to keep up with it all.

But anyway, congrats to my best friend Lauren and her (now) husband Beau!
I am so excited for you both! It was so much fun seeing everyone and just talking about how we always said Lauren would be the first to 'get hitched'! ;) I was overwhelmed with all the memories as friends from all over came to see the celebration. It has been 5 years this year since I graduated high school...seems just like yesterday sometimes. Since then I have been to 3 weddings and numerous bridal showers..scary and exciting. Now, I am informed that people are asking when I am getting married?! Hold your horses all, someday in the far future. :)

Well to all I didn't get to talk with much at the wedding esp. (Shannon? Where did you go?) I am sorry. I will be in touch and you all keep in touch too! I have posted some pics on facebook.com and I am now on myspace.com (I know, I gave in..sigh). Well, see you all soon! I'm off to FL for a week! YEAH!<--can't believe I just said that...

Lauren and I are still alive! We made it out west and have survived to tell tales of grizzly bears, elk, moose, orcas, a tornado, and more than a 100 degree temps to 30 degrees (with 12 feet of snow) surrounding us in one day's span. Well, to all I haven't sent a postcard yet, I promise they will get there! I forgot my address book on the trip, so I couldn't send them.

I have to say, we had an amazing group that God brought together. We had zero major conflicts and no yelling that I remember. Our bus drivers were amazing, as well as leaders. Just a little note, seeing that many places in so little time is exhausting. I regret not being able to spend more time at each...someday later, maybe. I hated to leave everyone, being on a bus for 3 1/2 weeks makes you kind of fond of everyone. Good friends to come back to next Fall semester though. Well, I am officially home for the summer! Give me a call and we will catch up!

Lauren and Beau are gettin' hitched in like 2 weeks! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! My best friend is getting married....craziness and wonderfulness all rolled into one.

Hello my lovely Xanga friends I hardly hear from anymore. I know, I am not one to talk. I miss seeing the random posts every week or so. I hope all of you are doing good...I have to say, since my last post, I am fairly calm. There are many things still flying up in the air that seem like they are going to come crashing down, but I am trying to take it easy and not worry so much about it. So here's the low down:

Good:
-God is so good...
-I'm going out west!!! Woohooo!!!
-It is summer..no school (maybe)!
-Lauren & Beau are gettin' hitched in less than 2 months!
-I'm going out west!!
-Chemistry is done?!
-I have the 1st two seasons of the show 24 to keep me occupied this summer
-No set summer job...just seeing the states

Bad:
-Satan is bad..he has tried his hardest to make me feel like I've failed so much...
-We still haven't finished our "Water Meter" project
-I have only 4 days until leaving for out west and have to have our house clean & moved out...
-I am going to miss the mountains this summer
-I get to see my friends I never see much..all you wonderful people, you know who you are...(even the Judds and Savadges way out yonder!)
-I haven't exercised in like 3 weeks! AHHH! (Bridesmaid dress....)
-Don't know if I passed Chemistry...?

So who wants to read our itinerary for the trip?? These are all the places we are going to go out west..I will try and post pictures...mostly on my facebook page though. If you have a place you want a postcard..let me know ASAP! Keep us in your prayers...we are taking a Christian music tour bus (HAHA) out there for 3 1/2 weeks too see all this...craziness and amazing at the same time...
